How to Measure Yourself for a Suit

Before You Begin
You’ll need a flexible measuring tape and a way to note your results. Wear the undergarments you’d typically pair with your suit, and if possible, have a well-fitting jacket or trousers nearby for reference. A mirror or a friend’s help can make the process easier, but it’s not essential.
Measuring Made Simple
Work through each measurement slowly and carefully. The tape should rest comfortably against your body — firm but never tight. Take each measurement three times for accuracy and round to the nearest half inch. Record your height (in metres) and weight (in kilograms) to assist with overall proportioning. Once complete, you’ll have everything needed to create a made-to-measure suit that fits beautifully and feels effortless.
